I don't think Europass fits the needs of young Spanish people looking for a job as it is too impersonal and way too long.

Idealy when handing out a resume it should be one page long and taylored to the specific job you are applying to, so a full CV so long and generic as this one would only be usefull for mass sending, probably over the internet.

With this web page we're taught about how to write our European CV. But, in my opinion, it isn't a practice CV because it's too long and very complicate to be unterstood fastly. If I were a boss of one company and someone showed me this sort of CV, I wouldn't hire him. I think a simple and direct CV is better. Then it can mean that the aspirant has clear ideas because he can sum up his career.

These web pages are very interesting for people who need to find a job or that want to move on to a better job. Many times we undesestimate what a good presentation can do for us, because one thing is to have skills and another one, completely different, is to be able to show them to others. Some people among which I am included, are not good at giving an exact description of themselves.
If I can give a piece of advise to those who, looking for a job, need to send a CV, I would say that a cover letter is esential to make the employer aware of your personal situation. And nothing else, only... good luck!

I´ve just finsihed visiting the Europass´webpage and I would like to resume the content and valorate it.

Firstly, Europass is a tool that wants to show our skills in order to find a job or to apply for a course in all European countries. It containts five documents: Europass CV, Europass Language Passport, Europass Mobility, Europass Certificate Suplement and Europass Diploma Suplement.

Secondly, in my opinion Europass could be a very useful tool, specially for young people who want to leave their country for job or studies. Young European students are getting used to study and work abroad. This is a tendece that, I´m sure, will increase more and more in the nexts years.

On the negative side, the oldest workers in Spain wont´be able to benefit for Europass. Normally, they don´t speak languages and don´t want to leave their country.

For me these pages aren´t interesting, because its function is to direct the people to write a CV, covering letter or similar, and my experience tells me in order to get a job in my profesional area you need to show your portfolio, not your CV.
And in some programs like Word there are some applications where you can write your CV.

Hallo!!
I have been reading the articles about how to find a new job,and I have specially pay attention to those who talked about how to be ready in the enterviews.
I recommend you to see the video called-land your first job-,where you can find what are the most difficult and the dearest questions you can find in an interview, such as:-Can you describe yourself in three words?-or-How much will I be paid?-It is a very funy video, where you can get some very usefull tips.
For me,the most important thing to do before the interview is the prepparation of it,getting all the information about the vacancy, looking for information in as many places as you can afford.

I think that using an Europass CV is only interesting for those people who are looking for a job abroad. For that reason, I find it very useful for me. But if you want to work in Spain you don't need to fill in an Europass CV, just write a normal CV and that will be enough to find a job here. In any case, reading about how to write a CV is always useful (if you don't have a job yet) because you can use some general advices, such as
being brief and direct or being careful with the ortographical or typing errors.

I think that it is something incredible that people who haven´t had a good marriatge can repeat twice again.
May be, if you haven´t got children is easy to find another mate but with joung fills I believe that it could be really difficult.

I think the marriage is one of the most complicated subjects in the society at that time. Because people make the decision to marry without reflect.
One example is my town, there, people who has 23 years only think about getting married, and this is his only aspiration.
In my opinion you need to live with your couple before marriage, because the coexistence is the most important thing in order to get a good relation with your pair.

I find very interesting this article. The south of the United States is said to be different. And, as we can see, it might be true.
Perhaps its good weather can be the reason of this incredible trend. The southern people can go out more than the northern one and know interesting and funny people. Or it would be that they believe more in love.

About the remarriage article I think it's pretty funny the most conservative US states are also the ones that remarry the most.

It could be either because they are also the poorest ones and their citizens tend to marry younger or because they value the institution of marriage the most due to their generaly more conservative values.

Regarding to "Third time lucky", it is a text that show us how American people marry again and again in search for the perfet mate. You can read informations about states and genres.

It is an interesting text if you want to think about human behaviour and how everyone try to find their hapiness even they are confused.

M1 Sara. Hi everyone! About the article "Three times lucky"... I'll comment two things:
Fist of all, I think stadistics could be a good tool for letting people know about what happens with marriages or other issues, and we usually make them the source of every cientific theory, and therefore, believable. Despite this, we all know that it's not possible to summarize all the marrieges problems just by the stadistics of some state in USA.
Second and, finally, I think our actual society teaches us that we "must" give less space for finding out how to deeply love a person. We are asked to leave things when we just "don't feel confortable". Who told us overcoming problems doens't make us more human and respectfull persons?

Hi!
I've never heard about Europass webpage, but it's interenting for people who have enought skills and decide to work in other contry.
I've been reading some examples of Europass CV and I believe that it,s too good, I mean that the Cv is excellent and maybe people who are interested in this but have a simple CV, think that they haven't enough skills to get a job. Moreover, in my opinion the Cv is complicated and too long, I think that it isn't an opportunity for everyone, only for people who have had a really good jobs and experience. However, in most cases this kind of people don't want to go abroad.
To sum up, it can be a good option for a minority of people, and it should be more easy for the rest of it.

I've enjoyed reading the article " Third time luckly" becouse it shows how people can have different point of views depending of the place they live, the enviorment and the status in our society. Moreover, I 've understood how different are American people than us, becouse I think that their minds and their way of understanding the life is quite different.

I was recommended to use the europass a few years ago, when I was looking for a job in Greece.

At first, I found it very interesting, but when I started to use it, I noticed that it was a bit difficult to use it, and not as useful as it could be.

Finally, I gave up my job search because I found a job in Valencia, and then I gave up using that web also.

I have read the article "Third time lucky" and I want to say that it is only statistics.

And it's true that stats don't lie, but they don't tell always the whole truth. In this case, we don't know if they marry again after a bad marriage and an awful divorce or only after his/her partner's death. And, obviously, every person and every situation are different, and statistics can't show it.

So, in my opinion, it's difficult to reach a good conclusion about remarriage in the USA reading only this article.
