Learn English through songs

Nick Cave
Push the sky away
Lyrics
I was right
I was right
Oh, the sun, the sun
The sun is rising from the field
I've got a feeling
I just can't shake
I've got a feeling
That just won't go away
You've got to just
Keep on pushing
Keep on pushing
Push the sky away
And if your friends think
That you should do it different
And if they think
That you should do it the same
You've got to just
Keep on pushing
Keep on pushing
Push the sky away
And if you're feeling
You've got everything you came for
If you got everything
And you don't want no more
You've got to just
Keep on pushing
Keep on pushing
Push the sky away
And some people
Say it's just rock'n roll
Oh, but it gets you
Right down to your soul

Conversation 2014-15

This workshop held in Rocafort Casa de Cultura and organized by La Pedrera with the Local Government is addressed to citizens who need to improve their oral skills. Many people are frustrated because their attempts at speaking the English language have been unsuccessful.

But they want to travel and surf the internet, participate in International Forums or enjoy the opportunities that English language and cutler has to offer.

English in Spain is not as difficult as it seems. But it implies both our bodies and our minds. It engages our psychology, our fears, our self-esteem.

The process of becoming a fluent speaker in a conversational setting is not easy or short. But we shall create the appropriate and safe atmosphere in which participants can develop their oral expression in an effective way.

Features of the course:
1. Strong focus on listening and speaking for social situations.
2. Students are given numerous opportunities to practise new language through a variety of communicative activities, many of which are personalized.
3. Focus on spoken accuracy, as well as fluency, which gives students lots of opportunities to practise new language in both free and controlled contexts.
4. Practical language they need for day-to-day life, helping them become more spontaneous, natural communicators.
5. Help learners to appreciate how English works. 'Help with Sounds’.
